To support the delivery of consultancy and systems engineering projects focused on Digital Building technologies, applications, processes, and standards. Representing FPC Global in all client and partner interactions, the Digital Buildings Analyst must maintain high standards of technical and professional performance, and conduct themselves with unwavering honesty and integrity at all times. Key Responsibilities Industry Expertise Technical competence in engineering and technology disciplines related to the built environment Substantial foundational knowledge of Digital Building technologies and industry trends Highly competent with technical project challenges, an engineering problem solving and analytical mindset Professionally developed knowledge of the building lifecycle, construction stages and industry roles Strong ability to engage with internal training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Proactive capability to develop a firm understanding of FPC's service offerings and client sectors. Services and Solutions Delivery Assist with the production of technical reports, documentation, and project outputs Support the team in delivering Digital Building consulting services Carry out research and technical analysis to inform project work. Programme and Project Management Deliver defined tasks and workstreams under the direction of senior team members in accordance with the agreed Scope of Work and Engagement Letter Produce accurate analysis, data outputs, and reports to a high standard Support project teams reliably across multiple concurrent assignments. Client Management Support senior consultants in client-facing activities under supervision. Prepare data, analysis, and materials to support client deliverables. Conduct yourself professionally in all interactions with clients and stakeholders. Business Development Support proposals with research and background data. Prepare data and analysis to support business development activities. Assist with bid preparation activities as directed. Innovation & Culture Contribute to improving project delivery processes, tools, and frameworks Support lessons learned, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives Encourage adoption of best practices and efficient ways of working Promote a collaborative and high-performance team culture FPC Global Corporate Responsibilities Represent FPC Global professionally in all client and internal interactions Lead and support project teams, fostering collaboration and performance Adhere to company policies, governance standards, and reporting requirements Support continuous improvement across delivery operations Skills and Experience Essential Qualifications & Skills Education Bachelor's degree (or currently working toward one) in Engineering, Computer Science, Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Technical Skills & Experience Foundational understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), smart buildings, or IoT technologies. Exposure to open communication protocols used in building automation, including BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, MQTT, or similar. Understanding of HVAC, lighting controls, energy management systems, metering, and building control systems. Experience supporting or contributing to projects involving IoT sensors, smart lighting, energy management systems, or digital building technologies. Familiarity with engineering design documentation, technical submittals, system architecture diagrams, points schedules, and network topology drawings. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design/documentation tools. Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Sheets. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to produce accurate, well-structured reports and technical documentation. Experience in a consulting, engineering, technology, smart buildings, controls, or systems integration environment, including internships, placements, or graduate programmes. Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP networking, TCP/IP, Ethernet, wireless communications) is advantageous.
