Digital Marketing Strategist

Reporting to the Director of Strategy, the Digital Marketing Specialist supports the execution of digital marketing activities for RUNNER's medical practice clients. They play an integral role in achieving our clients' goals and maintaining strong client relationships.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in an agency environment.
• Experience in healthcare/medical marketing is a plus.
• Hands-on experience executing digital marketing initiatives with an emphasis on content marketing, SEO, lead nurturing, email marketing, conversion rate optimization, website and landing page creation.
• Strong aptitude for analyzing and presenting marketing campaign reporting, including Google Analytics and lead pipeline reporting.
• Working knowledge of digital advertising, especially Google and Meta ads. We have another team that manages these ads, but you should know enough to contribute strategically and communicate with clients.
• Ability to grasp complex, technical concepts and communicate simply to clients.
• Strong skills in creative copywriting skills for both long-form content like website copy and blogs, as well as short-form copy like social posts or ad copy, all from an SEO lens.
• Experience working with CRM systems to analyze leads as well as email nurturing and automation. (CRM systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, HighLevel, etc.)
• Experience working with a project management platform. (such as Wrike, Monday, Asana, etc.)
• Experience with WordPress content management and plugins.
• Familiarity creating content with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
• Familiarity using SEO Tools such as SE Ranking, SEMRush, Google Search Console.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• New Account Setup: Guide our new clients through the set-up and implementation of RUNNER services.
• Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to build unique digital marketing strategies, including our Marketing Roadmap service.
• Marketing Execution: Work together with other strategists, media experts, creatives, and developers to produce top-of-class deliverables and drive results across RUNNER's marketing services.
• Account Service: Lead client relationships and communication, including status meetings. Ensure work is completed on-time and within budget. Oversee quality and overall impact, adjusting where needed.
• Performance Reporting: Develop and analyze monthly reports, meeting with clients to review reporting, ongoing initiatives and plan future strategies.
• Client Retention: Build a trusted strategic relationship with clients to help retain and grow business.
• Hone Your Skills: Keep up with changes in the digital marketing landscape, including tools and practices that will help our clients and agency evolve.
