Description


The United States of Biafra (USB), successor of the Republic of Biafra, operates under the AU Resolution 903(XXXVIII), UN Resolution A/RES/80/106, the Lahti (Finland) 2024–2026 Mandate and the Sandton Declaration 2021, within a global and EU legal framework. Its Constitution, adopted on December 2, 2024 in Lahti, Finland, serves as the supreme law, prioritizing rule of law and human dignity while guiding the civil order of Biafran nationals.


USB is supported by a dedicated Legal Team and 66 Diplomatic Mission Representatives across Europe, Africa, Asia, the Americas, the Middle East, and Oceania. USB identity documents and diplomatic missions function as key authorities for verifying identity and maintaining an accurate global population register. The missions also provide administrative oversight, certify civil status, investment opportunities and work to safeguard nationals from systemic risks and institutional instability.


Role Description


This is a full-time, Remote or Hybrid or On-site Diplomatic Affairs role responsible for supporting the international representation and coordination of the United States of Biafra(successor of the Republic of Biafra). The Diplomatic Affairs professional will liaise regularly with USB missions, legal teams, and external stakeholders to support identity verification processes, civil status certification, bilateral engagements and documentation standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing diplomatic correspondence, briefing notes, and reports; monitoring relevant international developments; and maintaining structured records of engagements with governments, institutions, and civil society organizations.


The role will help coordinate virtual meetings, consultations, and negotiations, ensuring clear communication of USB policies, constitutional principles, and human dignity commitments. The individual will collaborate with cross-regional mission representatives to support strategic initiatives and strengthen global diplomatic networks.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in international relations, diplomacy, and foreign policy analysis, with the ability to engage constructively with diverse global stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting formal correspondence, reports, and briefing documents in clear, professional English.
  • Experience with legal or policy-oriented environments, including basic understanding of international law, human rights frameworks, and constitutional governance.
  • Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and digital record-keeping, with strong organizational skills for managing documents, schedules, and data across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to conduct structured research on geopolitical, legal, and institutional developments, and synthesize findings into concise, actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity, with experience working in or with multicultural and multilingual teams.
  • Educational background in International Relations, Political Science, Law, Public Policy, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are an asset or Proven Self manifestation capabilities.
  • Prior experience in diplomatic services, international organizations, NGOs, or government affairs is highly beneficial.
