About the Role We’re hiring a Static Ads Designer to drive scalable growth through high-performing paid social creative. This is a direct response role, not brand marketing or organic social. You’ll join the Performance Creative team and report directly to the Director of Performance Creative. You’ll be responsible for translating briefs and winning concepts into high-converting static image ads, collaborating with Creative Strategists to identify new opportunities, and analyzing performance data to continually iterate and find winning ads. Job Responsibilities Static Ad Design Design static image ads for Meta (Instagram/Facebook) in 4x5, 1x1, and 9x16 formats. Translate scripts, briefs, and offers into visual concepts that stop the scroll and drive clicks/conversions. Produce multiple concept variations per brief — varying hooks, layouts, and angles — to support optimal batch testing volume. Maintain an expected output of approximately 6–8 ad batches per week. Incorporate copywriting, claims, and offers into designs clearly and compliantly, in line with brand and platform guidelines. Creative Development Build out creative concepts from brand creative briefs. Design supporting assets such as product mockups, before/after comparisons, testimonial graphics, and UGC-style static frames. Apply typography, color, and layout choices that reinforce each brand's identity while prioritizing performance. Creative Judgment & Brand Alignment Exercise personal design style and technique within the bounds of each brand's guidelines. Submit concepts for review and final approval to the Director of Performance Creative before delivery. Stay current on what static ad formats and styles are performing on Meta, and adapt design choices accordingly. Collaboration & Revisions Work with the Director of Performance Creative downstream in the workflow to implement feedback. Turn around revisions in a timely manner to keep pace with testing and launch schedules. Stay flexible across brands, adapting to each client's distinct voice, guidelines, and creative direction. 3+ years in direct response marketing and design. You'll be working in a 100% English speaking environment so excellent written and spoken English is a must. Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio to back it up. Proven experience designing direct response / performance static ads or paid social creative. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or equivalent professional design software. Strong understanding of what drives performance/conversion on Meta specifically (hooks, layout, contrast, native feel). Ability to produce multiple test-ready concept variants efficiently without sacrificing quality. Comfortable receiving and quickly implementing creative feedback from a director/team. Strong grasp of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy for fast-scroll environments. Highly organized and reliable with file handling, naming conventions, and delivery deadlines. Portfolio demonstrating direct response / performance static ad design required.
