Head of AI Architecture and Operations — Forzo Techlabs (FTL)

Forzo Techlabs is looking for a Head of AI Architecture and Operations to lead our India business across both product and services lines, with a strong emphasis on AI-driven architecture. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role for someone who can architect intelligent systems, lead teams, and help shape our go-to-market as we scale.

About the Role

You'll own the India operations charter end-to-end — spanning AI and technical architecture, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing on startup growth initiatives. You'll be equally comfortable in a whiteboard architecture review and a go-to-market planning session.

Our India team is distributed across Chennai and Trivandrum and works remote-first. This role is fully remote, with occasional travel expected for client engagements, team offsites, and leadership meetings.

What You'll Do

• Lead and grow the India team across engineering, product, and delivery functions
• Own AI and technical architecture decisions across our product and services portfolio
• Define and drive the architectural roadmap for embedding AI capabilities across our platforms
• Drive execution on our flagship products:
• Carbalyze — our carbon analytics/intelligence platform
• Carboventory — our carbon inventory management solution
• Oversee delivery on eCheck, our services offering
• Partner closely with the marketing team on startup-side growth and positioning efforts
• Act as the senior leadership presence for India operations, representing FTL with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Balance strategic planning with hands-on involvement in architecture and delivery

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in technology roles, with demonstrated progression into architecture and leadership
• Proven experience leading and scaling teams
• Strong AI/technical architecture background — able to make and defend design decisions across product lines
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into production systems
• Comfort operating across both product (Carbalyze, Carboventory) and services (eCheck) environments
• Some exposure to or interest in marketing/growth functions, particularly in a startup context
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Based in Chennai or Trivandrum preferred, or able to work substantially overlapping hours with the team
