Date Posted: 2026-07-21 Country: Malaysia Location: Otis Elevator Company (M) Sdn Bhd, 15-01 Menara Symphony, No 5, Jalan Semangat, Seksyen 13, 46200 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan , Malaysia Role Overview The Director, APAC Product Operations for Digital Services & Products is responsible for driving the successful deployment, adoption, operationalization, and growth of Otis digital products across the Asia Pacific region, including Otis ONE™, Customer Portal, Developer Portal, EMS Panorama™, Compass® 360, Compass® Infinity, and future digital solutions. This role serves as the critical link between Global Product teams and APAC business stakeholders, ensuring regional priorities, customer requirements, and market needs are effectively represented. The incumbent will drive cross-functional collaboration across Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Field Operations, Sales, Service, New Equipment (NE), Modernization (MOD), and Customer Success functions to enable successful product deployment, accelerate adoption, improve operational performance, and support regional growth objectives. The Director will champion change management initiatives, establish operational excellence programs, monitor key business metrics, and enable successful execution of digital strategies throughout the region. Key Responsibilities Represent APAC business needs and customer requirements to Global Digital Product teams, influencing product roadmaps and priorities. Drive deployment, adoption, and operational excellence for digital products across APAC markets. Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies in partnership with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Service organizations. Lead product growth initiatives and drive commercial performance through data-driven decision making. Partner with regional and country leadership teams to remove operational barriers and accelerate digital transformation. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable outcomes. Lead cross-functional governance and stakeholder engagement to ensure regional alignment and execution excellence. Support sales enablement activities, customer engagement programs, and product evangelization across the region. Drive change management, user adoption, and organizational readiness initiatives for digital product implementation. Build strong partnerships with global teams while balancing regional priorities and business requirements. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Product Management, or a related field. Master's Degree or MBA preferred. 15+ years of professional experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Digital Transformation, Program Management, Technology Solutions, or related functions. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing regional or multi-country initiatives across APAC. Proven experience driving deployment and adoption of enterprise digital products, SaaS platforms, IoT solutions, or connected services. Demonstrated success working within complex, matrixed global organizations. Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting go-to-market execution and growth initiatives. Experience influencing senior stakeholders and executive leadership teams across multiple functions and geographies. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership. Outstanding communication, presentation, and influencing skills. Strong program and project management expertise. Experience working in Agile environments; Agile certifications are advantageous. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently in a highly matrixed organization, driving results while collaborating remotely with stakeholders across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones. Strong ability to influence, align, and build relationships without direct authority across regional and global teams.
