Job Description Summary The Director of CoE Partnerships for Cardiology Care Pathways will play a pivotal role within GE HealthCare’s global cardiology care area team, focused on shaping the future of cardiovascular care, cultivating and managing high-impact partnerships with leading cardiovascular institutions. This role focuses on developing and operationalizing initiatives that span clinical excellence, translational science, education, and innovation to improve patient outcomes and advance the standard of care. We are envisioning an ecosystem the integrated diagnostics, image-guidance and therapy to enable precision patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of translational insight, customer-centric thinking, and deep technical and clinical understanding of cardiovascular care. We are looking for a strategic and agile leader who thrives at the intersection of clinical cardiology, digital and high-tech medicine, and relationship-building. You possess a strong understanding of cardiovascular care and can engage credibly with top-tier clinicians, researchers, and institutional leaders. This is not a commercial sales role, nor a purely technical one—it requires someone who can operate across domains, build trust in complex environments, and drive meaningful impact through building and managing both relationships and technology. The right person combines a customer-oriented mindset with scientific rigor and the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and co-create solutions that advance care. If you are energized by shaping the future of cardiology through collaboration with centers of excellence and have the drive and agency to lead transformative initiatives, this role offers a unique and high-impact opportunity. Please note - we are open to candidates based in the US but the role will require frequent travel to Waukesha, WI and other US based clients approximately 25% of the time. GEHC will not be able to provide sponsorship for applicants now or in the future. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Develop and manage strategic partnerships with cardiology centers of excellence globally, fostering long-term collaboration across clinical, scientific, educational, and innovation domains. Initiate, develop and drive programs that generate measurable improvements in cardiovascular care delivery, research, and education. Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving clinical practices in cardiology to inform strategic direction. Understand the needs of healthcare providers seeking to optimize and grow cardiovascular service lines. Serve as a trusted advisor externally (to clinical leaders) and internally (to product- and research-managers), identifying shared priorities and aligning GE HealthCare’s technologies, data assets, and expertise to support joint objectives. Facilitate cross-functional engagement across GE HealthCare teams (clinical, commercial, R&D, education, and digital) to support partnership execution. Lead initiatives that translate clinical insights into scalable innovations, including pilots, validation studies, and translational research programs. Represent GE HealthCare in external forums, including academic conferences, advisory boards, and collaborative networks. Monitor evolving trends in cardiovascular medicine and health systems to inform partnership strategy and identify new opportunities. Support the development of educational programs and knowledge exchange platforms in collaboration with partner institutions. Required Qualifications Advanced degree in medicine, biomedical sciences, engineering, or related field; MD, MSc, or equivalent experience such as leading cardiovascular service lines, care transformation, or similar roles. Minimum of 8 years of experience in cardiovascular care, translational research, or strategic partnerships within healthcare. Proven ability to build and sustain high-trust relationships with clinical leaders and institutions. Strong understanding of cardiovascular clinical workflows, technologies, and innovation trends. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across complex organizations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences from clinicians to executives. Desired Characteristics MBA or equivalent business training. Experience working with academic medical centers, professional societies, or global health systems. Familiarity with co-creation models, translational research, and clinical validation frameworks. Strategic thinker with a passion for advancing cardiovascular care through collaboration and innovation. Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in dynamic, matrixed environments. We expect all employees to live and breathe our behaviors: to act with humility and build trust; lead with transparency; deliver with focus, and drive ownership –always with unyielding integrity. Our total rewards are designed to unlock your ambition by giving you the boost and flexibility you need to turn your ideas into world-changing realities. Our salary and benefits are everything you’d expect from an organization with global strength and scale, and you’ll be surrounded by career opportunities in a culture that fosters care, collaboration and support. #LI-MA4 We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $176,000.00-$264,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
