TITLE: Director Corporate Training REPORTS TO: SVP Human Resources STATUS: Salaried LOCATION: Remote SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PAY: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 JOB SUMMARY : The Director of Corporate Training leads the organization’s learning and development strategy to strengthen employee capabilities, leadership effectiveness, and business performance. The Director oversees training and development programs that enhance employee skills, drive performance, and support strategic organizational goals. This role partners with senior leaders and business units to identify training needs, establish priorities, and develop scalable learning solutions aligned with company goals. The director oversees corporate training programs, learning technologies, compliance training, and measurement of training effectiveness while promoting a culture of continuous learning. RESPONSIBILITIES : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation: Develop and execute the organization’s learning and development strategy aligned with business goals and priorities Partner with business units to identify skill gaps, training gaps, and development opportunities Lead the design and implementation of leadership and management development programs Oversee the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs across classroom, virtual, e-learning, and blended formats Partner with HR and leadership on talent development , succession planning, and career development initiatives Establish standards and best practices for instructional design, training delivery, content development, and learning resources Oversee learning content, training materials, and knowledge resources to ensure consistency across the organization Evaluate, implement, and optimize learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies Identify opportunities to incorporate AI and emerging technologies into training development and delivery Establish metrics to evaluate training effectiveness, participation, employee development, and business impact Conduct post-training evaluations, analyze results, and implement improvements Ensure required compliance, regulatory, and policy-related training is completed, documented, and maintained Monitor regulatory and business changes that may impact training requirements and update programs as needed Stay current on learning and development trends, adult learning practices, and emerging technologies Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS : High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or related field preferred 8+ years of progressive corporate learning and development experience, including leadership responsibility Demonstrated experience developing and implementing organization-wide learning and development strategies Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and leadership development practices Experience partnering with leaders to assess organizational needs and develop effective learning solutions Strong understanding of learning management systems, e-learning tools, and training technologies Experience developing and using metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and business impact Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills Strong project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives Strong ability to influence and build relationships across organizational levels Experience supporting organizational change, leadership development, and talent development initiatives Experience with or willingness to learn AI tools and emerging technologies REMOTE WORK REQUIRMENTS: Stable, high-speed internet connection Experience with teleconferencing Access to a quiet workspace Smartphone/mobile device PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the responsibilities of the job, the person in this position will be required to frequently communicate information so others will understand. The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time and must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. The person in this position may need to occasionally move about the inside of an office. The person in this position may need to position self to maintain files in a cabinet and place computers under a desk or in a cabinet. This position requires ability to constantly observe typewritten text on a computer screen. The person in this role is required to operate a laptop and use a telephone regularly. The person in this position may be required to travel throughout the USA by automobile or airplane which may require overnight lodging. WORK ENVIRONMENT : While performing the duties of this job, the person in this role may be in a stationary position in an office setting and may be exposed to quiet to moderate noise level.
