The Director, FCA Film Ultimates and Cash, is responsible for leading the financial modeling and budgeting of participations and residuals for theatrical products. This role requires a deep understanding of contractual obligations and the ability to translate complex deal terms into financial models and forecasts. This individual will bring a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to working across Participations, FP&A, Controllership, and Strategic Planning groups. Additionally, the role will support the setup and review of theatrical participation deals within the Participations and Residuals system (PARIS) as needed. Here you can: Build and maintain participation and residual ultimate models for theatrical products Support cash forecasting and budgeting processes related to participation and residual obligations Analyze and interpret complex legal agreements and translate terms into financial models and forecasts Collaborate closely with various business units including FP&A, Controllership, Strategic Planning, Legal and Business Affairs Maintain appropriate controls within the ultimate process as required by Sarbanes Oxley Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and improve productivity Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and forecasting Support ad hoc requests and special projects as needed What you’ll bring: BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally in Entertainment Finance, Participations or Accounting Solid experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and interpreting legal agreements into financial models Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with SAP and participations systems a plus What sets you apart: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills A proactive, solution-oriented mindset to problem-solving You demonstrate accountability and follow-through in your work You are adaptable and eager to expand your impact by taking on new challenges beyond defined responsibilities You approach your work with an innovative mindset and a strong focus on continuous improvement You build strong partnerships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
