Director Of Application Software Administration

Description Our client is seeking a Director of Application Software Administration to lead the strategy, administration, optimization, and governance of the company's business-critical application ecosystem. The organization is undergoing a major technology transformation following years of underinvestment in technology and data capabilities. This individual will play a pivotal role in establishing best practices, improving operational maturity, and creating the foundation for scalable growth. The ideal candidate will be an MRI Software super-user with deep ERP experience who understands both the technical and business implications of enterprise applications. This person will serve as the organization's subject matter expert for application strategy, application administration, and business process enablement. Key responsibilities include: -Own and optimize the company's enterprise application portfolio -Act as the leading MRI Software expert within the organization -Partner closely with Accounting, Finance, and business leadership teams -Establish application governance, standards, and best practices -Evaluate application roadmaps and identify opportunities for improvement -Lead application upgrades, enhancements, and modernization initiatives -Manage vendor relationships and hold software providers accountable -Build and develop a small but growing applications team -Create scalable processes and operational discipline as the organization continues its technology transformation -Provide strategic guidance regarding future-state application architecture and business process automation This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys building, creating structure, and taking ownership of a critical function. Required Skills & Qualifications 1. MRI Software -Deep hands-on experience administering, optimizing, and serving as the subject matter expert for MRI Software while aligning platform capabilities with accounting, finance, and business operations. 2. ERP systems administration and support -Proven experience leading the administration, enhancement, and governance of enterprise ERP systems while driving process improvements and supporting critical business functions. 3. Building application governance and best practices -Demonstrated ability to oversee a portfolio of enterprise applications, establish best practices and governance, manage vendors, and develop long-term application roadmaps. 4. People leadership and team development -Proven success building, mentoring, and leading high-performing application or business systems teams while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. -Azure and Blackline Experience. -Experience with an Agile working environment. -Strong proven SQL Database experience. -Strong understanding of Financial Cycles and Models. -Strong understanding of Data Governance. -Strong understanding of Application Security. -Exposure to real estate, healthcare, or REIT environments is a plus Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $175000.00 - $200000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. health benefits - medical, dental, vision Workplace Type This is a fully remote position.
