Company Description NeuroPraxis is California’s premier in-home and community-based rehabilitation program for individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and spinal cord injury (SCI). The organization delivers comprehensive, customized rehabilitation plans that adapt to each client’s physical, emotional, and social needs. An interdisciplinary team integrates advanced technology and innovative rehabilitation techniques across programs that include in-home and community therapy, supported living, vestibular rehabilitation therapy, and pain management. NeuroPraxis is dedicated to maximizing client independence, restoring function, and supporting long-term recovery in real-life environments. The team fosters a compassionate, client-centered culture focused on helping individuals and families thrive throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Role Description The Director of Business Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving growth and strategic partnerships for NeuroPraxis. This position leads new business initiatives, identifies and cultivates referral sources, and develops relationships with healthcare providers, payers, case managers, and community organizations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the business development pipeline, overseeing lead generation activities, and coordinating outreach campaigns that expand awareness of NeuroPraxis programs. The director collaborates with executive leadership to develop and implement business plans, assess market opportunities, and refine service offerings based on client and partner feedback. This role also guides contract negotiations, supports key account management, and ensures that all business development activities align with NeuroPraxis’s mission of client-centered rehabilitation.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in New Business Development and Lead Generation to expand services and partnerships.
  • Strong Business Planning skills, including market analysis, strategic planning, and growth forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, with experience structuring agreements with healthcare organizations, payers, or related entities.
  • Solid Account Management capabilities to nurture long-term relationships and ensure partner satisfaction.
  • Experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, or related fields, with an understanding of TBI/SCI or complex care services preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills across clinical, administrative, and community audiences.
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and mentor team members in business development activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is an asset.
  • Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
