Director of Finance

About the Opportunity

100% Remote.

Our client is a rapidly growing organization seeking a Director of Finance. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will play a key role in developing financial planning processes, delivering strategic insights, and supporting executive decision-making during an exciting period of growth.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys building processes, partnering with business leaders, and creating scalable financial reporting and planning capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for executive leadership.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to provide financial insights and support operational initiatives.
• Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
• Develop and enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting capabilities to support organizational growth.
• Support long-range planning, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and decision support.
• Assist with special projects and other finance initiatives as needed.
• Contribute to the continued development and evolution of the finance organization.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7–14 years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and executive reporting.
• Experience with multi-entity financial consolidations.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Proven ability to build scalable financial planning processes.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• CPA and/or MBA.
• Experience in a project-based or operationally complex business.
• ERP system experience.
• Experience supporting high-growth organizations.
