Position Summary We’re looking for an experienced Director of Product Management who will be responsible for the overall administration of assigned education products including establishing roadmaps and strategic plans for education product revisions and retirements, describing and positioning education products for optimized sales and adoption, collaborating cross-departmentally to support revenue goals; and monitoring product performance in order to ensure optimum program achievements are met for the organization. Education products include certificate and credential programs and courses. Key Responsibilities Maintain education products in accordance with the industry’s best practices to ensure proper revisions or retirements. Identify strategic opportunities to improve education products and new product options in support of the education revenue goals. Effectively manage all facets of education products to ensure their applicability and relevance to target audiences. Deliver professional communication and ongoing technical support to external customers and internal team members. Collaborate internally with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and alignment to education product, customer, and organizational needs. Develop and support ongoing systems development procedures and guidelines that can be utilized post implementation of education products. Identify any barriers with a solutions-oriented approach to achieving successful implementation and develop key project implementation models. Gather and prioritize inputs to the annual implementation of education product updates. Establish a roadmap for product revisions to ensure balanced refreshes across sister products and in alignment with significant industry updates. Develop content for all channels where education product policy and description reside – including websites, Candidate Handbooks, CE Policy Books, FAQs, sell sheets, and budget books. Establish annual price changes for all education products. Provide reporting and product metrics to internal stakeholders to ensure education products are meeting expected goals and make recommendations for improvements or changes to support the department revenue goal. Leadership and supervision skills. Knowledge Requirements: Learning needs assessments, educational program design and delivery, and learning evaluation and assessment. Technology Requirements: Virtual communication and presentation platforms. Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Fonteva or other Association Management Systems, LearnUpon or other Learning Management System, Content Management Systems, and Digital Experience Platforms. Experience Requirements: 10 or more years of experience in educational program development, management, and administration. Professional association experience a plus. Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Supervisory Requirements: Direct report is Education Operations Specialist. Travel Requirements: Local travel via motor vehicle. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, both in a home and office environment. Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards, phones, and printers. Visual acuity to view and analyze information on a computer screen for extended periods. Occasional light lifting (up to 10 lbs) for transporting a laptop or office materials between work locations. Ability to commute to the office as required (i.e., at least 3 days per week).
