Director of Quality Strategy Management

Role Description The Honor of Kings Appraiser is a full-time, remote role responsible for evaluating and advising on high-end custom diamond jewelry inspired by regal and prestige themes. Day-to-day tasks include assessing the quality and value of diamonds and gemstones, reviewing design specifications, and ensuring each piece meets Monarch Jewels’ standards of craftsmanship and aesthetic excellence. The appraiser will collaborate with designers and sales specialists to provide accurate descriptions, certifications, and valuation insights for clients. Additional responsibilities include preparing clear appraisal reports, maintaining digital records, supporting client consultations, and contributing expert input to marketing and product listings.

Qualifications

• Expertise in gemstone and diamond evaluation, including grading, valuation, and familiarity with industry standards such as GIA or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of fine jewelry design, metal types, and manufacturing processes, with the ability to assess craftsmanship quality.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, report writing, and recordkeeping for appraisals and certifications.
• Comfort with remote work tools, including digital communication platforms, shared databases, and basic office software.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and advising clients.
• Relevant certification or training in gemology, jewelry appraisal, or a related field; professional memberships are an advantage.
• Prior experience in luxury jewelry, auction houses, or appraisal services is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple appraisal requests in a fast-paced environment.
