Gifts for Good®

This Role Is Rare

Our fulfillment center is Goodwill Southern California. That's not a logistical detail, it's a decision. Every order that ships creates employment for people with barriers to work. In 2025, that meant 60,749 hours of dignified work, the equivalent of full-time employment for 29 people for an entire year.

That's one line in our annual impact report. In the same year, our clients funded 219,527 meals for children in need, provided 87,705 kids with life-saving vitamins, planted 27,863 trees, and delivered 60,149 weeks of safe water to families who needed it. Since 2017, nearly $5 million has gone to charity through gifts that companies were already buying.

The corporate gifting market is approaching $1 trillion. Every major platform in this space has bolted social impact on as a feature, a collection, a filter, a sustainability page. We built the company around it. Every product. Every purchase. Every client. That structural difference is what makes this one of the most compelling sales roles in the purpose-driven business space.

"Building a recognition program that works across dozens of countries and thousands of employees is no small thing. Gifts for Good made it possible without losing any of the intentionality we care about. Every gift still feels personal, and every gift still gives back." — Sara Shillinglaw, Head of Employee Engagement & Impact, Zoom

About Gifts for Good

Gifts for Good is a Certified B Corporation with a score of 126, a Certified Women-Owned Business, and one of the first 16 companies in the world to achieve the Climate Label Certification, alongside REI, Vuori, and Reformation. Our gifting platform lets companies run recipient-choice gifting programs at scale, with built-in impact reporting that gives corporate buyers verifiable ESG data on every campaign.

We work with over 82 nonprofits and social enterprises across 50 states and 72 countries. Since 2017, we have channeled nearly $5 million to charity, funded over 900,000 meals for children, and created more than 320,000 hours of employment for people facing barriers to work. We are in an exciting growth phase and we are hiring the person who helps get us there.

We are a lean, high-trust small mission-based team that moves fast, makes decisions quickly, and genuinely cares about the work. You will report directly to the CEO. You will have real ownership of what you build.

The Role

This is a senior sales leadership role focused on landing the next major enterprise relationships for Gifts for Good. The kind of whale-tier accounts that transform the business and create long-term, high-impact partnerships. You will personally own a portfolio of high-value enterprise opportunities and strategic partnerships. while leading and coaching the existing sales team.

We believe sales is repeatable when it follows a process. Great sales teams run on playbooks anyone can learn and execute. Building those playbooks for our team, the script, the SOPs, the qualification framework, the upsell/cross-sell framework, the training, is a core part of this role.

In your first 90 days, you will audit the current pipeline, assess the sales team and propose the right go-forward structure, build out your target account list of major enterprise opportunities, meet with our current team to identify acceleration opportunities, and begin building the sales playbook this team will execute against.

What You'll Do

Enterprise Sales & Strategic Partnerships
  • Identify, pursue, and close major enterprise opportunities that fundamentally change our growth trajectory
  • Develop multi-year partnership and account strategies for landing, expanding, and retaining flagship clients
  • Create compelling proposals, decks, and pitches for enterprise opportunities, you own the materials end-to-end
  • Travel as needed for trade shows, conferences, major client meetings, and partnership development (likely only 1-2 times per quarter)

Sales Methodology & Playbook
  • Build the sales script for our team: discovery questions, demo flow, objection handling, close, and follow-up cadences
  • Document SOPs for each stage of the sales cycle, from first touch through renewal, so the team has a clear, repeatable path to follow
  • Establish the qualification framework and stage definitions that filter out bad-fit deals early
  • Run consistent training and ramping on the methodology, so every team member is operating from the same playbook
  • Partner with Sales Operations on the systems that execute the playbook in HubSpot (workflows, sequences, dashboards)

Team Leadership & Coaching
  • Lead, coach, and develop the existing sales team (Senior Account Manager, Sales Account Executive, and Director of Impact & Strategic Partnerships)
  • Hold the team accountable to hitting quota, run weekly pipeline reviews, and develop each team member's skills
  • Assess the sales team and partner with the CEO to define the right go-forward structure, including finalizing roles, responsibilities, and JDs for the rest of the sales team
  • Build a team culture of accountability, ambition, and mission alignment

Pipeline & Forecasting
  • Provide the CEO with a real-time, accurate read on pipeline health, deal velocity, win rates, and forecast
  • Set and enforce team-wide CRM standards so the data is always trustworthy
  • Flag risks early and bring solutions, not just problems

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work with marketing on demand gen, messaging, and content needed to close enterprise deals
  • Partner with operations and impact teams to deliver on complex enterprise engagements
  • Provide market and customer feedback to leadership to inform platform and product direction

Who You Are

  • 5–10 years B2B sales with a track record of closing major enterprise deals
  • Demonstrated ability to land and expand whale-tier accounts, the kind that transform a business
  • Experience selling a platform or SaaS product. You understand recurring revenue, land-and-expand, and how to sell a subscription alongside physical products
  • Strong background selling into Marketing, HR, Customer Experience, People & Culture, procurement, Executive Assistants, Event Planners, or CSR/ESG buyers. These are our people and you already know how they think
  • Experience leading and coaching a small sales team, and comfortable assessing team structure to help define what's needed for growth
  • Experience building sales playbooks, scripts, and SOPs that turn selling into a repeatable system. You believe sales is a process that can be trained, not just talent
  • Strategic partnership and channel sales experience, you know how to build a referral and affiliate engine
  • Small or mid-size company background required. You operate lean, figure things out, and don't wait for resources that aren't coming
  • Willing and able to travel for trade shows, conferences, major client meetings, and partnership opportunities
  • Strong written and visual communicator, you can build a proposal or deck that moves a deal forward without needing design support
  • Genuinely mission-driven, not as a talking point but as a real reason you're here. You want your sales career to mean something. You believe how a company spends its money says something about who it is. And you know how to make that argument to a procurement team, an HR leader, and a CFO without it sounding like a pitch
  • Familiar with HubSpot, Google Suite, and AI tools including Claude.
  • Bonus: you have sold for a B Corp, social enterprise, or purpose-driven brand and know what it feels like when the mission is part of the product

The people who thrive here care about the mission the way our clients do. Not because it makes selling easier, though it does, but because they genuinely believe businesses can be a force for good. If that's performative for you, we'll both find out quickly. If it's real, you'll find this the most meaningful sales role you've ever had.

Benefits

Full benefits: health, dental, vision, and 401(k). Remote with flexible hours. Flexible PTO (Q4 is our peak season).
