Director of Sales - East

Cerrowire is seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Director for the East. This is a remote position which will require up to 60% travel. The Sales Director will maintain existing and grow new relationships with customers in the electrical distribution channel within a specified geography or account base. Major Responsibilities / Activities: Manage E.D. accounts for performance and profitability. Anticipate customer needs and proactively address those needs. Identify growth opportunities within accounts via most effective product placement and promotional opportunities Maintain pricing changes as related to product categories and agreed upon price change levels Work with Data Analyst to review sales, trends, and opportunities Monthly reporting requested from customers, including but not limited to Fill Rate Reports, Shipments & Tracking vs. Goals for quarterly or annual rebate. Process and issue quotations based upon desired company results Manage Manufacturer’s Representatives (Reps) in specified territory including budgeting, sales vs. plan, pricing strategy, support customer events, contractor engagement, etc. Plan and participate in industry events such as trade shows, conferences, customer events, etc. Host customers for Cerrowire plant tours to showcase the company’s abilities, people, value, and culture Coordinate efforts and communicate with Technical Sales and Innovation team personnel in support of company’s contractor-facing strategy Develop and maintain relationships with customers which encourage strong communication, information sharing, and delivery of desired outcome Other Duties as assigned by Manager Required Qualifications and Experience: Excellent written and oral communication skills required Ability to work without direct supervision Advanced computer experience (Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Access / Excel / Outlook / PowerPoint / Windows / Word/ PowerBI or similar reporting tools) Demonstrated analytical skills and organizational skills Proven attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of employees (both inside and outside the company) Position will be located remotely A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Electrical Distribution channel is required Demonstrated trust and integrity, high ethical standards, interpersonal competence and the ability to prevent, reduce and resolve conflict. Able to manage multiple priorities and generate results in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated team and leadership skills: decision making, analytical, team building and organization skills.
