About the Role Are you a dynamic and strategic Human Resources professional looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking a Director, People & Culture Business Partner to support senior leaders across multiple client groups and help build a high-performing, engaged, and connected culture. This role is perfect for an influential, hands-on, creative, and highly engaged individual who can act as a change agent within our organization. You will foster a connected culture of collaboration, influence all levels of the organization to drive performance and engagement, and serve as a strategic partner within client organizations. Day to day you'll... Serve as the primary advisor for the executive team on People & Culture activities, focusing on organizational development, talent management, change management, culture shaping, and people analytics to drive sustainable growth Develop and implement forward-thinking people strategies that align with business objectives and foster a high-performing, accountable culture centered on the client experience. Collaborate with client group leaders to assess and develop talent, ensuring roles are filled with high-performing individuals who contribute to long-term organizational success Partner with business leaders to lead workforce planning, talent planning, and succession planning processes across client groups identifying current and future talent needs, assessing critical talent risks, and building robust succession pipelines that ensure organizational readiness and associate growth Stay abreast of emerging AI-powered HR tools and support the organization in leveraging technology to enhance talent decisions and the associate experience Leverage employee engagement data and insights to identify trends, surface concerns, and design targeted plans that strengthen culture and reduce attrition Partner with People & Culture Centers of Excellence (COEs) to drive strategy within client groups, enhancing team dynamics, associate engagement, and talent development to build a resilient and adaptable workforce Lead and participate in high-impact cross-functional projects to develop and implement innovative programs and processes that support long-term company initiatives Provide visionary leadership, coaching, and development to People & Culture team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement Partner with the Associate Relations Center on complex and high-visibility associate relations concerns and investigations, ensuring long-term organizational stability Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience 10+ years of related work experience 5+ years of people leadership experience 5+ years of project management experience Strong business acumen and analytical skills High-level influencing skills, with a proven track record of effectively driving organizational change Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment; flexible, supportive, and adaptive to changes in direction, priorities, and job duties Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting a multi-state field organization. Certification through the Society of Human Resources Management (PHR or SPHR) or MBA. Experience with people analytics platforms. Demonstrated success with large-scale change management. Experience supporting distributed workforce models. Experience with AI-enabled HR tools and systems. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.
