Supply & Production Planning • Lead development and maintenance of supply and production plans based on demand, capacity, material availability, inventory targets, yields, cycle times, lead times, and other key planning parameters. • Translate demand and business priorities into feasible production plans, wafer-start requirements, build plans, and scheduling priorities, as applicable. • Establish and maintain appropriate planning horizons, planning levels, planning cadence, planning assumptions, and exception-management processes. • Identify capacity, material, and process constraints and coordinate mitigation plans with Operations, Engineering, Program Management, Demand Management, and other stakeholders. • Ensure plans are regularly reconciled to actual factory conditions and revised as demand, supply, capacity, or business priorities change. Master Scheduling & Execution Alignment • Ensure effective translation of aggregate supply plans into detailed production schedules and execution priorities. • Partner with Manufacturing and Operations to monitor schedule adherence, WIP progression, production output, and shipment requirements. • Drive timely recovery actions when execution deviates from plan and escalate issues requiring cross-functional or leadership decisions. • Balance near-term execution requirements with longer-term capacity, inventory, and customer-service objectives. Logistics, Warehouse & Inventory Control • Provide overall leadership for warehouse, logistics, receiving, shipping, material handling, and inventory control activities supporting manufacturing operations. • Ensure materials are received, stored, controlled, and delivered in accordance with production requirements and established quality and control standards. • Ensure finished goods are appropriately controlled, staged, packaged, and shipped in support of customer requirements and shipment schedules. • Own inventory-control processes supporting inventory accuracy, traceability, accountability, cycle counting, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis. • Ensure warehouse and logistics operations support a 24/7 manufacturing environment and maintain appropriate service levels across shifts. • Drive improvement in inventory accuracy, material availability, receiving and shipping performance, warehouse productivity, and material flow. S&OP / Integrated Planning • Provide the supply, capacity, inventory, and constraint inputs required for an effective S&OP process. • Partner with Demand Management and business stakeholders to translate demand into constrained supply scenarios and recommendations. • Support executive decision-making when demand exceeds available capacity or material supply, including prioritization and trade-off analysis. • Help ensure the operational plan is aligned with business priorities and provides an appropriate foundation for the financial plan. Planning Transformation & Systems • Serve as a functional planning leader for the development and implementation of standardized planning methods, assumptions, governance, and performance measures. • Participate as a key business leader in the Sherman factory Production Planning Model, Semiconductor Devices Group (SDG) Advanced Planning System, and corporate Oracle Supply Chain Planning initiatives. • Translate business planning needs into functional requirements and help ensure system designs support intended planning processes and business outcomes. • Drive reduction of spreadsheet-based planning, manual reconciliation, and disconnected planning logic through standardized processes, data, analytics, and technology. • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to improve planning data quality, integration, reporting, and visibility. Constrained Materials & Supply Risk • Partner with Global Procurement, a separate corporate team, to communicate material requirements, supply priorities, and projected constraints and to incorporate supplier availability and supply risks into production and supply plans. • Support centralized visibility and allocation of constrained materials across sites, products, and business priorities within the planning process. • Provide forward-looking material requirements and scenario information to support supply-risk mitigation, including rapid response to changing supplier availability and qualification status. • Ensure material constraints and their potential impact on customer commitments, production plans, and business objectives are visible and escalated appropriately. Performance Management & Continuous Improvement • Establish and monitor planning, logistics, warehouse, inventory, and service KPIs that measure effectiveness, execution, and business performance. • Use data and analytics to identify supply risk, capacity constraints, inventory issues, productivity opportunities, and root causes of performance gaps. • Develop actionable reporting and operating reviews that support timely decisions and accountability. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce cost, improve lead time and service, increase supply flexibility, and strengthen process discipline. Cross-Functional Leadership • Partner effectively with Manufacturing and Site Operations, Program Management, Demand Management, Global Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Quality, IT, Commercial organizations, and business leadership. • Ensure planning, logistics, and inventory priorities are aligned with customer commitments, NPI and production-ramp requirements, and business objectives. • Communicate significant supply, inventory, capacity, and execution risks clearly to leadership and drive timely decisions and corrective actions.
