For more information, please visit www.saviynt.com . Saviynt, Inc. is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Procurement to lead our procurement function within the SaaS industry. This leadership role will manage the end-to-end procurement process, focusing on optimizing software solutions, streamlining the supply chain, and ensuring the acquisition of products and services aligned with Saviynt’s business goals. The Director will be instrumental in implementing and managing procurement software, including tools like Tipalti and NetSuite, and will work cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and Operations to optimize procurement strategies and improve the efficiency of our procurement ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven procurement leader to play a key role in shaping Saviynt’s procurement strategy and driving continuous improvements in software procurement and integration. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of procurement strategies specifically tailored for the SaaS environment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with Saviynt’s growth objectives. Oversee software procurement, IT tools, and services necessary to support business operations. Vendor and Software Management: Manage and optimize relationships with key suppliers and software vendors. Lead the evaluation, negotiation, and management of contracts, including software renewals and vendor performance. Experience managing software vendor relationships, including Tipalti and NetSuite, is a plus. Software Implementation & Integration: Oversee the implementation of new procurement software solutions, ensuring integration with existing systems (e.g., NetSuite, Tipalti). Collaborate with IT and Finance to manage the technical side of procurement systems, ensuring seamless operation and optimization. End-to-End Procurement Management: Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition approval to software purchasing, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and implementation. Work closely with internal teams to meet the company’s SaaS-specific needs. Process Optimization & Governance: Establish and refine procurement processes that ensure compliance, efficiency, and cost optimization. Enforce policies that streamline the Procure-to-Pay process, driving the adoption of procurement systems like Tipalti and NetSuite within the organization. Cost Control and Budget Management: Collaborate with Finance to create and manage procurement budgets for software and services, tracking expenditures, and savings, and ensuring cost-efficiency. Provide insights into software renewals, contract negotiations, and technology spending. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure procurement activities, especially around SaaS contracts and software licensing, comply with legal, financial, and industry standards. Manage risks associated with vendor contracts and software integrations. Performance Reporting and Analytics: Develop reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor procurement performance. Use data analytics to assess the effectiveness of software procurement strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure alignment with Saviynt’s business needs. WHAT YOU BRING Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certifications (such as CPM, or CPSM) is a plus. Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, particularly in SaaS or technology companies. Experience in managing software procurement and vendor relationships is critical. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of procurement software systems, including experience with Tipalti and NetSuite. Strong experience in software implementation, integration, and process management in the SaaS environment. SaaS Industry Knowledge: Experience in the SaaS or technology industry, with specific expertise in software and service procurement, vendor management, and IT procurement. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze procurement data, negotiate favorable software agreements, and drive process improvements using data-driven insights. Leadership & Communication: Proven track record of leading procurement teams in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across various levels of the organization. Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on contract management, software licensing, and compliance within the SaaS industry. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a rapidly evolving and high-growth SaaS environment.
