Posted Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 4:00 AM What We Need Corpay is seeking a strategic Director of Product Management to own the vision, roadmap, and execution for our Compliance and Fraud platform supporting Corpay Cross-Border. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will lead the product strategy behind the systems that protect Corpay and its customers - AML screening and transaction monitoring, fraud monitoring and financial crime risk management, sanctions screening systems, and onboarding KYC platforms - across a high-volume, global payments ecosystem. This role will partner closely with Engineering and the Compliance organization to define and deliver the end-to-end product strategy. You will work hand-in-hand with the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and their subject-matter experts, bringing their deep regulatory and operational knowledge together with strong product and technical judgment to build and execute the platform roadmap. You will balance the tension between aggressive growth and rigorous regulatory compliance, translating complex requirements and data patterns into a clear, prioritized product roadmap. This role is ideal for a product leader with deep fintech compliance and fincrime risk expertise, strong analytical instincts, and the credibility to influence a complex, matrixed organization. Role Responsibilities Own the end-to-end product strategy for AML screening and transaction monitoring, sanctions screening systems, onboarding KYC platforms, and fraud monitoring and fincrime risk management, aligning direction with business growth goals and regulatory obligations. Partner closely with the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and their subject-matter experts to translate deep regulatory and operational knowledge into a clear, prioritized product roadmap, building and executing the compliance platform strategy together. Build and present executive-level business cases for platform investments, new controls, and risk-reduction initiatives, influencing the CPO, CCO, and the rest of the C-suite. Work with the CPO and other stakeholders to manage the investment decision-making that supports the goals and roadmaps identified with Compliance. Architect and drive the roadmap for automated risk decisioning engines that reduce onboarding friction and manual review while strengthening fraud and compliance coverage. Collaborate with Engineering to define a unified, platform-agnostic compliance and fraud layer that reduces technical debt and accelerates the launch of new financial products across business lines. Work with Compliance to define and implement KPI and risk-metric frameworks across the platform and report performance to leadership. Lead vendor and partner evaluations for 3rd-party tooling, assessing capability fit and securing executive approval on scope and commercials. Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, Security, and Operations to ensure controls meet global regulatory standards (AML, sanctions, privacy/GDPR) without compromising conversion. Work closely with other stakeholders in the Product function to drive seamless compliance systems execution across our alternative banking and payments capabilities. As the platform scope and team grow, potential to build and lead a product management team, hiring and developing PMs to own defined sub-areas of the compliance/fraud platform. Not required, but a plus: a track record of building, mentoring, or developing talent (e.g., leading cross-functional teams, running structured training/coaching programs) that would support future growth into people leadership as the platform scales. Deep expertise in applying extensive knowledge of compliance and risk practices to lead the application of existing principles and guide development of new ideas. Deep expertise in AML screening and transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and KYC/KYB onboarding platforms at scale. Proven track record architecting automated risk and compliance decisioning engines, proactively identifying and solving critical issues, and reducing manual compliance workflows through technology. Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with the ability to balance regulatory rigor against growth, conversion, and customer experience. Experience building reusable platform capabilities within regulated financial systems. Strong communication skills with experience presenting business cases and risk posture to executive and Board-level stakeholders. Experience managing multiple engineering teams, coordinating cross-team roadmaps in a matrixed organization. Comfortable working under pressure in a target-driven, regulated environment with competing compliance and commercial priorities. Experience managing third-party vendors for KYC, sanctions, transaction monitoring, and fraud tooling, including scope evaluation and commercial negotiation. Effective cross-functional collaborator with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Security, with the credibility to partner as a peer with the CCO and senior compliance leadership.
