Job Summary: The Director of Treasury Reconciliation holds a critical leadership role in assisting with the management of the Reconciliation team, dedicated to the essential tasks of fund verification and ensuring accurate and timely remittance payments to clients. This position requires an unwavering attention to detail and a steadfast dedication to maintaining the utmost levels of financial integrity. Directly reporting to the Senior Director of Treasury Reconciliation, the Director is charged with cultivating an environment of meticulousness and efficiency. Utilizing deep expertise, this role is tasked with refining procedures, swiftly resolving discrepancies, and ensuring clear and open communication with all relevant stakeholders. Responsibilities: Oversee and certify daily/monthly bank reconciliations for various account types, along with the compilation of monthly reconciliation reports. Validate daily and monthly reports concerning investor remittances. Approve Treasury transactions designed to rectify discrepancies between cash receipts and entries made in Strategy (McCracken), our loan processing system. Support the collection of data and procurement of necessary documents for Treasury Audits. Aid in managing the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Strategy process. Coordinate the integration of new investors into the Treasury Reconciliation Application, including liaising with the Remittance Reporting team for the assignment of numbers. Incorporate new bank accounts into Strategy and ensure the Treasury Database is up to date. Conduct reviews of 1099-INT forms. Serve as a backup for director related tasks for the Treasury Client Services & Treasury Cash Management sub-teams. Assist with the daily management and leadership of team members Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, or over 10 years of progressively responsible experience in treasury, accounting, or a related field. Proficiency in computer applications, including basic Microsoft Word, Outlook, and intermediate-level skills in Excel. Comprehensive knowledge of cash management, banking operations, and reconciliation processes. Strong problem-solving abilities, complemented by rational and logical analytical skills. The capacity to collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments within the company and with representatives from banking institutions.
