Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Dispatcher for owner operators at BORGES LOGISTICS INC. The Dispatcher will be responsible for booking loads on DAT and Truckstop, coordinating and managing the logistics and transportation operations for owner operators. Daily tasks include route planning, calling brokers to negotiate rates, dispatching drivers, tracking shipments, and ensuring on-time deliveries. Establishing connections and building trustworthy relationships to increase sales. Booking Reefer, Dry Van and Flatbed loads are required. 10-15 truck fleet per dispatcher assigned (Minimum of 10 trucks per dispatcher) .

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations
• Experience with dispatch software and systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Previous experience in dispatching for owner operators is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
