About the role
We’re looking for dedicated Donor Service Consultants who thrive in a fast-paced contact centre environment and enjoy connecting with people over the phone. In this role, you’ll spend most of your day speaking with donors, managing a high volume of both inbound and outbound calls while providing heartfelt, professional service.
Your core focus will be:
- Encourage and support donors to book lifesaving donation appointments.
- Respond to donor enquiries over the phone and provide helpful, clear guidance.
- Follow established processes to ensure a consistent and positive donor experience.
- Accurately capture information and navigate multiple systems while on calls.
This role suits people who enjoy structured work, clear processes, and making a meaningful impact through everyday conversations with donors.
Your core focus will be:
- A donor-first mindset and strong customer service experience.
- Confidence communicating over the phone for most of the day in a high-volume environment.
- The ability to stay focused and positive while handling back-to-back calls.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to confidently navigate multiple systems while speaking with donors.
- A collaborative approach and positive contribution to team culture.
- Commitment to privacy, quality, and achieving performance targets.
Training and Rostering:
- Training: 4-week in-office program (8:30am–4:30pm), followed by 4 weeks of in-office support.
- Flexible Work: After training, hybrid work-from-home arrangements are available for added flexibility. Maximum 2 office days per week.
- Rostering: The role involves a 12-week rotating roster, Monday to Friday, between 7am and 7pm, with one Saturday per rotation. With the exception of those working fixed school hours part time.
- Part-Time Schedule: While the first 4 weeks of training are full-time, flexible part-time options will be available thereafter. Please see specific part-time options on the application form.
