Job Title: .NET Business Analyst Job Code: OH 808110 Client: State of Ohio – Department of Children and Youth (DCY) Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid) Duration: Through 06/30/2027 Interview: In-Person Closing Date: 08/03/2026 at 4:00 PM Position Overview The State of Ohio – Department of Children and Youth (DCY) is seeking an experienced Business Analyst III to support the modernization and complete rewrite of enterprise .NET applications . The selected candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, leading requirements gathering, process analysis, and modernization initiatives while supporting cloud-native architecture and legacy system transformation. Required Skills 7–8+ years of Business Analysis experience Experience with .NET Core, Azure Functions, APIs, SQL Server , and application architecture Legacy system analysis, migration, re-architecting, and modernization experience Knowledge of Cloud Technologies, Microservices, and DevOps Experience with Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Clarity PPM , or similar project management tools Strong experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and non-functional requirements User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Process Flows, Workflow Diagrams, and Visio QA support, UAT coordination, defect triage, and validation Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business At least one IIBA Business Analyst certification (Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus) Preferred Skills Experience leading enterprise application modernization projects Data migration planning and business rules documentation Process mapping and workflow modeling Experience working with cross-functional development, operations, and security teams Knowledge of performance, scalability, security, and other non-functional requirements Primary Skills Business Analysis, .NET Core, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Clarity PPM, Application Architecture, Legacy System Modernization, Re-architecting, APIs, SQL Server, Microservices, Cloud Technologies, DevOps, Requirements Gathering, User Stories, Process Mapping, Visio, Data Migration, QA, UAT, IIBA Certification, Agile, Scrum.
