**TRANSITIONING SERVICE MEMBERS ONLY AS PART OF THE DoW/DoD SKILLBRIDGE PROGRAM FELLOWSHIP** Global Security Investigations is seeking a SkillBridge Fellow interested in gaining hands-on experience in fraud investigations, financial crimes, and investigative support within a professional corporate security environment. This opportunity is designed for transitioning service members who possess strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, integrity, and a desire to apply investigative, research, and documentation skills to support fraud risk mitigation. The Fraud Investigator will: Identify, review, investigate fraud activity, claims/cases and risk exposures from various delivery channels. Review transactional activities, internal/external inquiries, and perform investigations to protect Navy Federal and its members' financials and assets, and control and mitigate potential fraud loss. Ensure adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations. Work is performed under general direction. Perform more complex/unusual tasks with moderate latitude and increased impact. Support investigative efforts involving fraud events, emerging fraud patterns, organized fraud activity, and potential internal concerns. Support corporate investigations involving employee-related concerns, policy violations, internal fraud risks, and other matters impacting organizational security and integrity. Assist with case intake, investigative research, documentation, timeline development, and case file maintenance. Conduct preliminary transactional, digital, and data analysis to identify fraud indicators and support case development. Use open-source research techniques and external investigative resources to assist with subject identification, associate mapping, and fraud pattern recognition. Help identify indicators involving account takeover, identity theft, first-party fraud, debit card fraud, credit card fraud, loan fraud, and organized fraud schemes. Coordinate with internal partners to gather information, organize case materials, and support investigative workflow requirements. Maintain accurate case documentation, recordkeeping standards, and confidentiality in accordance with applicable policies and investigative procedures. Support longer-term investigations through research, analytical support, and structured documentation. Demonstrate sound time management, prioritization, and professionalism while supporting assigned investigative tasks. Current service members eligible for participation in the SkillBridge program that takes place for the final 90-180 days of military service before transitioning. Experience in investigations, law enforcement, military intelligence, security operations, fraud analysis, financial crimes, cyber investigations, or a related field is preferred. Foundational understanding of investigative processes, evidence handling concepts, report writing, and professional documentation standards. Ability to analyze information, identify patterns, and communicate findings clearly and objectively. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment. Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information appropriately. Familiarity with open-source research, database research, financial crime typologies, or fraud indicators is preferred but not required. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex information and identify relevant investigative leads. Professional curiosity and willingness to learn fraud typologies, investigative techniques, and corporate security processes. Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise summaries and investigative notes. Ability to work collaboratively with investigators, analysts, and internal business partners. Sound judgment, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Adaptability and initiative in a fast-paced investigative environment. Salary: $78,400 - $123,200. (Potential salary if hired by Navy Federal as a full-time employee: SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from Navy Federal, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.)
