Responsibilities Responsibilities: This is a casual status position which has the potential of becoming full time. Drafts detail and assembly drawings of design components, using computer-assisted equipment or standard drafting techniques and devices Consults with engineers to discuss and interpret design concepts and determines requirements of detailed working drawings Locates files relating to specified design project in database library, loads program into computer, and records completed job data Examines electronic/electrical/structural schematics and supporting documents to develop, compute and verify specifications for drafting data, such as configuration of parts, dimensions and tolerances Compares logic element configuration on display screen with engineering schematics and calculate figures to convert, redesign and modify elements Reviews work orders and procedural manuals and confers with vendors and design staff to resolve problems and modify design (if needed) Reviews blueprints to determine customer requirements and consults with assembler regarding schematics Generates computer diagrams of final layout design to produce layered photo masks and photo plotting designs Create proposal schematics in accordance with governmental requirements and consult with key personnel on ambitions for preferred change Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Associate’s Degree or equivalent related experience Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. 4 – 9 Years Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions: Sitting for long periods Standing for long periods Ambulate throughout an office Ambulate between several buildings Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 10 pounds Travel by land or air transportation 0% About Empower AI All hiring and promotion decisions at Empower AI are based on merit to bring the best talent available to contribute to our firm’s overall success.
