About the Role

A well-regarded Microsoft Partner in Ireland is looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Solution Architect to take ownership of solution design across their BC project portfolio. You'll work remotely with occasional visits to client sites, acting as the technical backbone of projects from initial scoping right through to go-live.

This is a senior, client-facing position for someone who can move comfortably between architecture, delivery leadership, and pre-sales — shaping how Business Central solutions get built and making sure they're built right.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading solution design across Business Central implementations, upgrades, and integration projects, end to end
• Turning client requirements into clear functional and technical designs that are scalable, maintainable, and built to best practice
• Supporting the sales process with scoping, effort estimation, demos, and proposal content for new opportunities
• Serving as the go-to technical contact for clients, earning trust through the life of each engagement
• Mentoring and reviewing the work of functional consultants and developers to keep delivery consistent and high quality
• Shaping how BC connects with the wider ecosystem — Power Platform, Power BI, and third-party apps and APIs
• Making the calls on key architectural questions: configuration vs. customisation, ISV selection, upgrade and migration approach
• Flagging technical risk early and working alongside Project Managers to keep engagements on track
• Keeping pace with the Business Central roadmap and the broader Dynamics 365 ecosystem
• Travelling occasionally to client sites in Ireland for workshops, design sessions, and major milestones

What We're Looking For

Essential

• 3+ years working as a Solution Architect in Business Central (NAV background also welcome)
• Based in Ireland, with flexibility for occasional client travel
• A track record of delivering BC solutions across multiple full project lifecycles
• Solid technical grounding in BC architecture, AL extensions, integrations, and Power Platform
• Confident, polished communicator — equally at home in a workshop or presenting to senior stakeholders
• Prior experience within a Microsoft Partner or systems integrator setting is a strong plus

Desirable

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Experience with pre-sales, RFPs, or solution estimation
• A history of mentoring or technically leading consultants and developers
