E-commerce Webmaster

Are you an organized professional who loves managing everything behind the scenes of a webshop? For our headquarters, we are looking for a Webmaster to ensure our Shopify stores run perfectly. You will manage the backend, direct developers to implement the right front-end adjustments, and ensure that everything not only looks great but is also highly user-friendly (UX) for our customers.

Furthermore, you will be the technical go-to person for our international colleagues: you will communicate improvements to our various regions and help them optimize their local shops.

What will you do?

In this role, you are the operational heart of our webshops. You will focus on efficient management and the further expansion of our e-commerce platforms:

• Shopify Management & Backend Administration
• You ensure the backend is always technically sound, from product and price management to setting up complex shipping rules, meta fields, and discount logic. Additionally, you manage and select the right apps within our Shopify ecosystem to maximize shop functionality.
• Project Lead: Frontend & UX
• You initiate technical improvements and lead developers to implement them flawlessly in the frontend. You combine your eye for user experience (UX) with technical feasibility, ensuring every adjustment directly contributes to a better customer experience and higher conversion. You will work closely with our CRO and SEO/GEO experts.
• Landing page creation
• You translate marketing campaigns into strong, high-converting landing pages. You know how to combine content and technology for a result that is both visually appealing and ranks high in SEO.
• International Support
• You are the point of contact for our various countries. You communicate new features, assist with local rollouts, and ensure the correct standards are maintained worldwide.

Who are you?

• Shopify expert
• You know the Shopify backend inside out. Whether it’s setting up complex shipping rules, working with metafields, or selecting the right apps, you know exactly which buttons to push.
• Conversion-Driven
• You have a sharp eye for conversion principles. You know how to structure a page to persuade visitors to take action and understand which technical or visual tweaks make a difference to the bottom line.
• Technical Coordinator
• You communicate fluently with developers. You understand what needs to happen on the frontend and can translate this clearly into technical requirements.
• Hands-on Mentality
• You enjoy building landing pages and managing content yourself. You work accurately and ensure every product launch or campaign is technically flawless.
• UX Mindset
• You don't need to be a die-hard designer, but you understand what makes a website user-friendly. You use this knowledge to constantly improve the shop for the end user.
• Communicative & International
• You easily switch between colleagues from different countries. You can make technical explanations understandable and enjoy supporting them in optimizing their local shops.
• Language
• Skilled in English language, both spoken and written.
• Experience
• 3 years of relevant experience.
