Eastern Division Inspections Manager Twining Consulting is seeking a Manager of Inspections for Twining’s Eastern Division. This position will be responsible for managing the service line’s operations in the Eastern region of the US. Responsibilities include supervision, inspections, client services, project management, and staff management. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to meet clients’ needs by working with clients to ensure that both technical and administrative requirements are met. Job Duties: Ensure field audits are completed within the client’s specified scope. Personnel management of inspectors in the Eastern Division. Project Management Provide staff training as necessary. Review and track inspection reports. Ensure industrialized buildings certifications are maintained for all inspectors and meet our clients’ needs. Ensure inspectors have the required credentials and training as required by IAS. Ensure projects are properly coordinated and staffed. Provide technical assistance to inspectors and clients as necessary, under various programs such as Listings, HUD programs, Modular programs, etc. Conduct annual audits where necessary. Engage the services of vendors and contractors. Provide inspections as necessary. Oversee HUD, Modular, Listing Inspections, and other programs as needed. Coordinate with regulatory authorities regarding regulatory requirements. Assist in HUD's On-Site Installation Inspection Program, HUD A/C & SC Programs for the Eastern regions. Assist with client proposals and contracts. Coordinate with the accounting department on invoicing and related matters for the eastern region’s accounts. Maintain client customer relationships and satisfaction. Qualifications: BS or Associate degree preferred or other related combination of educational and related experience. 3-5 Years experience in construction/code enforcement and/or working with ICC codes/building materials. Preferred candidates will possess or be willing to acquire certifications for industrialized buildings inspections; examples are California Factory Built Housing (FBH), Interstate Industrialized Buildings Commission (IIBC), California Quality Assurance Inspector (QAI), ICC Commercial & Residential Inspection; Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Building, Energy, Kentucky Inspector Certifications, Texas, and other certifications recognized by state modular programs as needed. Demonstrated experience working in ISO accredited or similar environment. Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers, clients, and potential clients. Must be able to work & manage remotely from home office. Willingness to travel up to 60% of the work week by car and on occasion by plane to fulfill client Inspection obligations. Must have proficient computer skills and ability to work with Microsoft Programs (XL, Word, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive etc.). Excellent benefits package including medical, dental, and 401(k) Plan.
