As an EDI Technician, you'll monitor and maintain Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) eligibility files, conduct analysis of EDI transactions to ensure proper function and accuracy, and contributes to the EDI team's success by meeting established goals and objectives through the accurate & timely eligibility processing and file maintenance activity. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Identify & process eligibility discrepancies accurately & communicate issues to clients promptly while meeting production and quality standards. Evaluate and maintain employee eligibility, ensuring compliance with policyholder contracts and legal requirements, insurance policy review. Review and analyze submitted data, initiate correspondence for missing information, and educate policyholders and brokers. Understand different file types submitted by Benefit Administrators and their impact on processing and eligibility downstream. Utilize various applications to assess employee and group eligibility. Applications include, but are not limited to COMPASS, GSAP, Salesforce, EDI Processor, BAM, Ultra Edit, Employer Access. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: A minimum of 1 year of prior EDI experience, with a proven ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve data-related issues efficiently. Strong customer service background, ideally in a call center setting, with a professional, solutions-focused approach when working with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Exceptional data entry and typing skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to various audiences, including internal associates, customers, brokers, vendors, and benefits administrators. Highly organized with strong time management skills. Able to prioritize, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico. PREFERRED: Strong multitasking skills Familiarity with applications used for eligibility investigation - COMPASS, GSAP, Salesforce, EDI Processor, BAM, Ultra Edit, Employer Access.
