This role will write, report and edit live music industry daily news, features, Q&A and executive profiles for Pollstar's platforms including overseeing the Daily Pulse and covering the Latin live business. Pollstar's platforms include a website, daily e-blast, weekly and monthly publications, directories and special issues. This position will cover and interact with the live music industry, develop contacts, and help with breaking news stories. The Editor will attend Pollstar's industry leading conferences, Pollstar Live! and VenuesNow. This role pays an annual salary of $59,241.00 - $74,052.00 Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays) This position will remain open until October 30, 2026. Responsibilities Write, report and edit live music industry news, features, Q&A and exec profiles. Develop Latin live music content and contacts. Oversee, edit and send out Pollstar Daily Pulse. Learn and utilize Campaign Monitor eblast platform. Write and edit stories for website, daily e-blast, weekly premium, monthly publication. Write/edit content for directories and special issue. Help put together annual Latin America Issues. Help more junior staff with their stories. Put together breaking news stories and eblasts. Attend Pollstar's industry leading conferences, Pollstar Live! and VenuesNow. Qualifications 3-4 years as a writer, editor, reporter. Conversational Spanish desirable. Mastery of Wordpress, content management systems (CMS) . Mastery of e-blast software (Campaign Monitor). Meet stringent daily, weekly and monthly deadlines. Understanding of trade journalism. Strong experience in writing, editing and copy-editing. Experience of working within an established newsroom.
