The employer is currently recruiting an Education Programme Lead to join them on a fixed-term contract until March 2027.

Education Programme Lead

Contract:
Fixed term until March 2027

Work Pattern: 35 hours per week. (1 FTE). The employer is open to flexible hours and working patterns, including accommodating part-time and compressed hours where possible

Salary: £51,349 (£55,512 if based in London)

Location: London E8 / Belfast, Northern Ireland / Newton Abbot, Devon / Sheffield / Remote within the UK. The employer promotes a hybrid, flexible way of working with 1 day working in the office if based in London.

The Vacancy

This role will lead key programmes of work related to education and equalities and will work to influence legislation, policy and practice to secure system improvement, more inclusive opportunities and better outcomes for children and young people, with a particular focus on disabled children and young people and those with special educational needs.

This role will also be involved in developing opportunities for work on education and equalities to improve access and inclusion in schools, and early years and post-16 settings. They will also develop and hold relationships with partner organisations, local and national agencies, to influence and respond to national education policy affecting wellbeing and disabled children and young people and those with SEN.
