eLearning Developer / LMS Administrator

Role Description The eLearning Developer / LMS Administrator is a part-time, remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining digital learning experiences for D3’s community. Day-to-day tasks include creating interactive eLearning modules, organizing learning paths, and ensuring content aligns with D3’s mission and technical focus areas. The role involves configuring and administering the Learning Management System (LMS), setting up courses, managing user enrollment, and tracking learner progress and analytics. The eLearning Developer / LMS Administrator will collaborate with subject matter experts and community leaders to translate technical content into accessible learning materials and support continuous improvement of training programs. This role also includes troubleshooting LMS issues, ensuring SCORM-compliant content runs smoothly, and recommending enhancements to the learning ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in E-Learning Development and Instructional Design for technical or professional learning environments.
• Experience with Learning Management and Training & Development, including course setup, learner administration, and performance tracking.
• Practical knowledge of SCORM standards and integrating SCORM-compliant content into LMS platforms.
• Familiarity with common LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, TalentLMS, LearnDash, or similar) and basic troubleshooting of user issues.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics (e.g., AI, software engineering) into clear, structured learning experiences.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and learner experience.
• Comfort working independently in a remote, collaborative, and fast-evolving tech community.
• Relevant education or certifications in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field are beneficial.
• Background or interest in software engineering, AI, or full-stack development is a plus.
