About the role: We're looking for an Electrical Engineer on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will provide high-level expertise in system design, grid optimization, and technical risk management. Work with customer leadership to guide engineering strategies, solve complex challenges, and ensure long-term infrastructure resilience. You would have an advanced experience in system integration, and risk management, ensuring project success from conception through execution. Location: Remote with trips to Juno Beach, FL 33408 Key Responsibilities: Provide high-level oversight of engineering and project execution, negotiate technical and regulatory requirements, and influence executive-level project decisions. • Leads multi-disciplinary engineering teams, ensure compliance with industry standards, and optimize technical designs for energy infrastructure. • Acts as the technical authority on engineering standards, practices, and regulatory requirements. • You will manage PPA, LGIA, and OEM testing completion. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field • 11+ years of experience in PLC programming, preferably Schneider Electric platforms • Experience of Modbus, DNP3, and industrial communication protocols • Experience with Ignition SCADA platform and HMI development • Experience with power systems and utility-scale energy project • Experience with utility-scale renewable energy or power generation projects • Knowledge of BESS control systems, inverters, and energy storage technologies • Familiarity with grid interconnection requirements and utility standards • Experience with FAT/SAT testing procedures and commissioning protocols • Full accountability for PPA, LGIA, and OEM testing completion • Ability to travel up to 25% for project commissioning support • NERC CIP cybersecurity awareness Our Safety Pledge to You: If you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you!
