Is this job info correct?

About us: iconic brand, tiny company Polaroid was founded in 1937 by one of the most seminal innovators of the 20th century, Edwin Land. His motto was, "don't undertake a project unless it is manifestly important and nearly impossible." In 2008, Polaroid shuttered its last factory, but diehard fans came together as The Impossible Project to save the instant film. Over 10 years later, that startup acquired what was left of Polaroid, and today we're again a small group of people passionate about empowering creators to change the world in the name of Polaroid. Job summary: Responsible for the electrical and hardware design of Polaroid instant film analog camera systems, including schematics, PCB layout guidance, prototyping, testing, debugging, validation, and system integration. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Industrial Design, Marketing, Product Development teams, and external engineering partners to deliver reliable, high-quality hardware solutions that meet cost, schedule, safety, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part throughout the full product development lifecycle — from feasibility studies and prototype validation to mass production — including root cause analysis, EMI/EMC optimization, and evaluation of new hardware technologies and platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical systems, modules, and subsystems for analog camera products. Define and drive camera electrical architecture, interfaces, and power delivery solutions. Create schematics for sensors, power supplies, wireless connectivity, and high-speed I/O interfaces. Support prototyping, board bring-up, testing, debugging, and performance characterization. Conduct board-level validation, data analysis, failure analysis, and design optimization throughout development and production phases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define validation plans, test cases, and ensure successful system integration across hardware, firmware, and mechanical design. Work closely with external partners, CMs, and ODM suppliers to optimize designs for manufacturing and mass production. Ensure products meet quality, reliability, safety, regulatory, EMI/EMC, and industry compliance standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support engineering root cause analysis and corrective actions. Research, evaluate, and develop new hardware platforms and technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. 5–10 years of hands-on experience in electrical hardware design, preferably within camera, imaging, or consumer electronics products. Strong expertise in component selection, schematic design, PCB design, and simulation tools. Experience with MCU embedded systems, FPGA integration, and control interface circuit design. Knowledge of analog camera systems, optics, ranging sensors, strobe systems, and wireless modules. Experience with EMI/EMC solutions and system-level validation. Skilled with hardware evaluation and debugging equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in failure analysis and data-driven optimization. Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills. Passion for photography and interest in camera technologies. Knowledge of CMOS image sensors, ISP, image processing, MATLAB, JMP, or similar tools is a plus.
