Job Title: Elluminate Business Analyst & Developer Job Description The Elluminate Business Analyst & Developer supports the operation, configuration, and enhancement of the eClinical Solutions Elluminate application. This role focuses on gathering and translating business requirements into reusable platform assets, administering platform configuration, and developing programming solutions that enable robust clinical data review and analytics across multiple modules. Responsibilities Gather detailed requirements from stakeholders for custom clinical data listings and visualizations, and translate them into reusable platform assets such as Mapper templates, review plan templates, and analytics configurations. Administer platform-level configuration, including setting up and maintaining user groups, privilege models, and security settings to ensure appropriate access and data protection. Configure and maintain data source connectors (including S3, ODBC, and SFTP) to support automated clinical data ingestion into the Elluminate platform. Develop and maintain reusable SQL queries, programs, scripts, and utilities to support data ingestion, listings, visualizations, and programming solutions required for clinical data review. Use programming and platform configuration capabilities to enable and maintain Clinical Data Analytics within CDA, CTOA, and SMA modules. Review, modify, test, and troubleshoot programming logic to confirm that outputs accurately reflect business requirements and expected clinical data results. Create and maintain clear specification documents for platform configurations to support consistency, audit readiness, and knowledge sharing. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) of platform implementations in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs). Provide ongoing support for platform configuration issues, including logging defects, tracking enhancement requests, and following up with the software vendor. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure that Elluminate implementations meet operational and strategic needs. Essential Skills Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, business information systems, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience. At least 3 years of programming experience in the Elluminate application, including Mapper, Clinical Data Analytics, and platform configuration. At least 5 years of clinical systems experience, including database development, clinical programming, data standards, and system integrations. Strong working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to understand, write, modify, test, and troubleshoot queries for data mapping, transformation, and analysis. Working knowledge of GxP requirements and computerized system validation principles, including change control, testing, documentation, and audit readiness. Familiarity with Python or another scripting language and the ability to use development tools to create or maintain programming solutions. Prior experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and data analytics platforms. Strong organization and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively with external vendors, including issue escalation and responding to inquiries and concerns. Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple competing tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience translating complex clinical and business requirements into reusable platform assets and configuration specifications. Background in clinical data review and analytics, particularly within CDA, CTOA, and SMA modules or similar environments. Comfort working with automated data ingestion pipelines and integrating multiple data sources such as S3, ODBC, and SFTP. Experience supporting user acceptance testing and working within structured SOP-driven environments. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior-level stakeholders on system implementations and enhancements. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on troubleshooting programming logic and resolving platform configuration issues. Attention to detail and commitment to documentation quality, audit readiness, and compliance with regulated system practices. Work Environment This is a remote role, with a preference for working core hours aligned to the Eastern time zone. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams while supporting Elluminate implementations and ongoing enhancements. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cambridge, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $67.00/hr.
