Who You Are DealMaker's Marketing Services team powers the email, SMS, RVM, webinar, and press release communications that drive issuer engagement and investor conversion. As Email Marketing Coordinator, you're the engine room of that operation — executing the campaigns, flows, and sends that keep investor and issuer communications running on time and error-free. This is an execution-focused role. You'll follow established playbooks, briefs, and timelines to get campaigns out the door accurately. You're not expected to redesign strategy or segmentation logic, you're expected to run the process reliably, QA relentlessly, and flag anything that falls outside the SOP rather than guessing. What You Will Do Execute Campaigns Across Channels: Build and send email, SMS, RVM, webinar promo, and press release distributions exactly to the brief and template provided. QA every send against the checklist before it ships. Support Automated Flows: Set up and monitor existing lifecycle flows per documented logic. Flag anomalies or unexpected behavior rather than redesigning flow logic independently. Build Segments to Spec: Pull lists and build segments exactly to the criteria you're given, the strategy behind the segment is defined by others; your job is accurate, on-time execution. Report Communications Results: Pull and report standard metrics after every send (opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes, deliverability flags). Root-causing and optimizing sits with the Specialist. Maintain Platform Hygiene: Keep templates, tags, and lists organized inside the ESP. Support basic list hygiene tasks as directed. Escalate Exceptions: Unusual requests, unclear briefs, or technical errors get escalated fast, to the right person, with the specifics they need to act. Guessing is not the job. Portfolio Ownership: Independently manage a portfolio of issuers/accounts, handle complex campaigns and edge cases What Skills You Need 1+ years in email/marketing operations, coordination, or a similar support role Comfortable following detailed processes, checklists, and briefs precisely Working familiarity with an ESP (Klaviyo, HubSpot, Customer.io , or Braze), no need to know our specific setup on day one, but you should learn fast and deliver accurate, high-quality work.
