Embedded Firmware Development Engineer

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Apply technical expertise, commensurate with formal training and job experience in the design and development of embedded firmware Prepare detailed plans, generally spanning several weeks to months, necessary to complete assignments. Troubleshoot and debug the Firmware using unit tests, Emulators, Simulators, IDE, and bench testing Provide process improvements & recommendations Work with internal cross-functional teams to understand firmware requirements Perform functional integration testing prior to hand-off to the test & evaluation team Conduct firmware design reviews on assigned projects Who You Are: You balance planning with actions. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science Zero (0) years of applicable experience Legal authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Experience with related technologies (C/C++, Object-Oriented Design, Python, UML, real-time operating systems, microcontrollers, serial communication protocols such as SPI, SCI, IIC, CAN) Knowledge of design and development of embedded firmware for products based on 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers. The salary range for this role is $75,000-$80,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. #LI-KT1
