Is this job info correct?

About Sibylline Sibylline is the world's largest private intelligence firm, helping organisations manage risk, spot opportunity, and build resilience in an increasingly volatile world. Our people provide the insight that leaders need to navigate today's complex geopolitical landscape. It's meaningful work, with high-profile clients and real-world stakes – and that's what makes it so rewarding. We're innovative, entrepreneurial, and growing fast, which means genuine opportunities to take on complex challenges, work with cutting-edge technology, and build your career, whatever stage you're at. Everyone brings something different to the table, and we want that reflected in how we operate. Our roles suit a wide range of working styles, personalities, and interests, and we invest heavily in our managers so that every person gets the support they need to do their best work. We're looking for people who are ambitious, discreet, and sharp, with strong integrity and a genuine curiosity about the world. If you're comfortable with uncertainty, energised by complex problems, and passionate about global affairs, we'd love to hear from you. Position Summary We are looking for a GSOC Analyst to join our diverse embedded Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) team for a professional services client. This role will focus on monitoring, information gathering, and reporting on any events and security incidents that may impact the client's employees, assets, events, operations, reputation, and information. You will monitor, gather and assess threats globally, while producing high-quality security alerts, and regular scheduled and ad-hoc topical reporting to an extremely high standard on a timely basis. This role would require you to work 12-hour shifts across day shifts (0700-1900) and night shifts (1900-0700), across the week and including weekends, on a flexible rotation schedule to cover capacity gaps as required. Day shifts are office-based, while night and weekend shifts are remote. This is a fixed-term position, running through to mid-late 2027. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Horizon scan/monitor and act as a central point for initial triage, assessment, and reporting. Communicate, escalate, and coordinate incidents with relevant stakeholders and account for staff as per established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Monitor client’s Business Travellers and assets/offices using global tracking tools provided by client and third-party. Establish, maintain, and adhere to GSOC SOPs. Safety check-ins with business travellers in high/extreme/remote locations. Work in close collaboration and coordination with the whole embed team to ensure the production of regular and ad-hoc global, regional, local, and thematic reports. Work with security group members and others on the ground in the event of an alert. Produce key metrics, threat assessments, and risk forecasting of geopolitical, political, security, health, climate/weather, economic, regulatory, and operational risks. Any other reasonable tasks requested by Client or any other Client Entity. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience, knowledge, and interest in current affairs, international relations, and emerging security threats. Excellent written and spoken communication skills with close attention to detail. Experience in utilising open-source intelligence (OSINT) and social media intelligence (SOCMINT) platforms, tools, and methodologies. Ability to absorb and analyse large amounts of data to summarise events accurately and concisely. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple scheduled tasks, requests, and sources of information in an organised way. Experience with MS Office, Google Workspace, or similar products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to give and receive feedback. Experience working in a corporate security setting or similar public or private sector environment, required. Fluent English required, and an additional second language preferred. Undergraduate or Postgraduate qualifications in International Security, Intelligence, Risk, Geopolitics or other related disciplines, or equivalent professional experience, preferred. Formal qualifications in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Security Risk Management or other related fields, preferred. Interview Process Initial call with our Talent Acquisition team member Timed written assessment (arranged at a time that suits you) to test writing and analytical capability Panel interview with some of the team members and hiring managers at Sibylline Meet and Greet with the client Research indicates that certain groups are less likely to apply for a position unless they meet every single requirement. If you feel you meet some of the requirements and can offer a unique perspective to this role, we strongly encourage you to apply—you might be the perfect fit we're looking for! Sibylline is committed to the recruitment and selection of candidates without regard for sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity, age, political beliefs, culture, and lifestyle. We are committed to fostering a business culture that reflects these values and promotes equal opportunity.
