EMEA Marketing Lead - Datacenter & Fiber

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to propel VIAVI Solutions to the next level in EMEA, with a focus on the datacenter and telecom fiber markets. In this role, you will serve as the primary regional/field marketing point of contact for the EMEA Sales leadership, implementing targeted, relevant marketing programs to drive business across datacenter and telecom fiber customer segments. This role is based in Germany with flexibility on the exact location and has an EMEA-wide responsibility. Duties & Responsibilities: As a key contributor of the global marketing program teams, shape global VIAVI end-to-end integrated marketing programs and drive implementation of these programs in EMEA to achieve business growth across target customer segments. Working with VIAVI staff and vendor partners, implement EMEA marketing tactics on time and within budget. Actively represent EMEA datacenter and telecom fiber buyer and market requirements and ensure relevance in the definition of global marketing programs. Be a strategic and trusted partner to EMEA sales leaders and deliver high-impact marketing programs that achieve sales revenue goals. Effectively leverage corporate campaigns and thought leadership programs within region to support business goals and key initiatives. Prioritize activities to achieve maximum impact within budget and resources available. Ensure EMEA marketing plans utilize the full range of integrated marketing tactics including industry events (tradeshows, customer seminars, webinars,) social media, as well as customer specific events and outreach (newsletters and one-to-one marketing, etc.). Participate and contribute to effective strategic account planning, and in close collaboration with sales, define appropriate marketing activities to support near term and longer term account planning objectives. Utilize metrics/goals/benchmarks to define program return on investment for EMEA marketing activities, and provide insights for continuous improvement of EMEA as well as global marketing investments. Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements: Fluency in English and minimum B2 level in German . Ability to travel within Germany and EMEA up to 20% of the time. Minimum 2 years of marketing experience, Proven experience in marketing, with responsibility for planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns and programs. Exceptional planning and organizational skills , with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously. Highly collaborative with strong working relationships across sales, marketing, leadership teams, and external vendors. Outgoing, enthusiastic, and confident communicator who enjoys engaging with customers, colleagues, and industry partners.
