We're looking for an Employee Relations Adviser to join our People Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a HR professional with strong employee relations experience who enjoys partnering with managers, navigating people matters, and helping create positive colleague experiences. You'll provide expert advice and guidance across a wide range of employee relations activity, ensuring people decisions are fair, consistent and aligned with business needs. Working closely with HR Business Partners and managers, you'll play a key role in supporting colleagues while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies. What you’ll be doing As ER Advisor, your days will be fast paced and varied. Your day to day will include (but not limited to): Providing first line HR expert advice and guidance to managers on a wide range of employee relations matters Managing and supporting a broad range of employee relations cases end to end Coaching leaders through people challenges that balances employee experience with business needs Supporting formal processes, investigations and required administration and documentation Ensuring HR policies and practices are applied consistently and compliantly whilst supporting with updates and required documentation Using people insights to support better business decisions Work closely with a broad range of stakeholders both internally and externally at all levels What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and energy to the role: You'll have previous experience in an Employee Relations, HR Advisor or HRBP support role Strong experience managing a broad range of ER cases from start to finish Experience advising and coaching managers on people issues and employment legislation Experience and confidence supporting people processes within the employee life-cycle Knowledge of UK employment law with ROI experience advantageous Experience working within a complex and commercially driven environment Skills & capabilities Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively Sound judgement with the ability to balance risk, compliance and colleague experience Highly organised with strong attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion Resilient, proactive and solutions-focused approach Strong commitment to fairness, consistency and delivering a positive employee experience.
