This is a fully remote, phone- and email-based role supporting residential customers through their energy-efficiency projects. You'll guide homeowners and contractors from initial eligibility through paperwork, program qualifications, and project completion, helping customers understand available upgrades, navigate incentives, and process rebates accurately. This is a true entry-level role: no building-science background is required, we'll train you on the technical side. What matters most is a strong customer-service instinct and the ability to manage a steady, high volume of customer interactions independently. You are a great fit if you can… Provide individualized, ongoing support to property owners and contractors via phone and email to support project conversion and contract compliance. Troubleshoot customer and contractor questions and provide guidance on program requirements. Complete rebate processing, calculations, data entry, and QA/QC documentation review with strong attention to detail. Accurately record customer and contractor interactions to meet program tracking and reporting requirements. Travel occasionally for team events or program needs. Manage a steady, high volume of customer interactions independently in a remote setting. Communicate comfortably by both phone and email, balancing and prioritizing both throughout the day. Exciting candidates will have… 0-1 years of relevant experience; customer service or high-volume communication experience (e.g., call center) is highly valued Comfortable navigating computer systems (ie Microsoft Office) and general technology is a must. Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills. A genuine interest in energy efficiency, sustainability, or helping customers; no specific degree or major required. Detail-oriented to resolve rebate and calculation issues. Targeted Compensation: $22/h DOT Requirements If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Compensation Range $19.55 - $27.25 Currency USD Type Hourly Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
