The Town of Mount Pleasant is seeking an Engineer 1 (Associate Engineer) to join our Engineering & Development Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional to build their career while contributing to meaningful projects that support the Town’s continued growth and infrastructure. The Engineer 1 performs professional engineering work with an emphasis on land development review, stormwater management, and capital improvement projects. This position reviews development plans, stormwater drainage reports, engineering calculations, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with Town standards and regulatory requirements. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering discipline Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification Ability to obtain a South Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) License within four years of hire Valid South Carolina driver’s license Why Join the Town of Mount Pleasant?
