Job Title: Engineer I Job Description This position assists in the planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Work on gas storage or gas fueling station assignments involving the design of components or functionality of pipeline products. Engage in the planning and design of mechanical equipment and components involving maintenance of mechanical equipment. Perform system balances to determine the best overall solution to solve system issues or identify system low points and methods to best solve them. Provide oversight and support for construction activities. Essential Skills 1+ year of professional working experience within an engineering capacity. Bachelor of Science in Engineering (mechanical, civil, or open to chemical). Previous project management experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, pipeline design, utility design, mechanical design, linear project, civil engineering, project controls, and DOT regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in MicroStation is a plus. Ability to run stakeholder meetings with high-level leadership. EIT certification is a plus. Work Environment The position offers flexible working hours, starting between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, with an 8-hour workday. The role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring 4 days in the office with Fridays remote. The office is conveniently located in the heart of Midtown, within walking distance from the North Avenue Marta Station. Benefits include 10 days of PTO and 10 paid holidays. There is also an opportunity to be hired on as a full-time employee when positions become available. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
