Job Description We are currently recruiting for the role of Engineer - Railways (Starszy Asystent Projektanta Kolejowego) to join our experienced Linear Infrastructure team. We provide railway design services from feasibility studies through detailed design across the United States and Canada. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to major transportation projects within our diverse Enterprise Capabilities team based in Poland and Spain. Responsibilities: Support the delivery of small projects or defined work packages within larger railway infrastructure projects under the supervision of experienced designers and senior engineers. Develop horizontal and vertical track geometry, corridors, templates and cross-sections in accordance with applicable design standards. Prepare project deliverables based on approved design inputs and project requirements. Prepare and update 2D drawings, 3D models and layouts. Perform quantity calculations in line with project requirements. Use engineering and CAD software to develop practical design solutions in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards. Perform self-checks of drawings, models, and documentation prior to submission for review. Coordinate assigned drafting and modeling tasks with team members across other disciplines, under the guidance of senior staff. Here's what we're looking for: At least three years of relevant experience in railway design. Practical experience in geometric design and 3D modeling using OpenRail Designer, Power Rail Track and/or Civil 3D. Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD. Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related discipline. Familiarity with international railway design standards, including AREMA, would be an advantage. Please submit your CV in English.
