Highly qualified candidates outside these locations may be considered for remote/hybrid employment; however, they must be able to travel to work onsite at one of our office locations for one week each month. Summary Delta Star Inc. is seeking a strategic and technically skilled Enterprise D365 Platform Owner to lead the governance, performance, security, and operational management of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem. This role serves as the steward of one of the company’s most critical business platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with business objectives. What You’ll Do As the Enterprise D365 Platform Owner, you will oversee the health, governance, and continuous evolution of Delta Star’s Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environment. You’ll work closely with business leaders, the Enterprise D365 Solution Architect, Data Architect, IT teams, and external partners to ensure platform stability, optimize performance, and support future business growth. Your leadership will help maximize platform value while maintaining security, compliance, and operational excellence. A Day in the Life Your day may include coordinating a production release, reviewing integration performance, collaborating with business stakeholders on enhancement priorities, or working with external partners to resolve platform issues. You’ll oversee testing and change management activities, monitor system health, ensure governance standards are followed, and help guide platform strategy to support evolving business needs. You’ll balance operational oversight with strategic planning, ensuring Dynamics 365 remains a reliable and scalable enterprise solution. Specific Duties Own the administration, governance, performance, security, and operational health of the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem. Lead platform release management, testing, upgrades, environment strategy, and application lifecycle activities. Develop and govern platform standards, security controls, configuration management, and operational procedures. Own integration strategy, standards, and delivery in partnership with the Data Architect to ensure reliable and scalable enterprise data flows. Partner with the Enterprise D365 Solution Architect to align platform capabilities with current and future business requirements. Drive platform optimization initiatives to improve system performance, reliability, supportability, and user experience. Provide technical leadership and oversight to internal teams and external service providers. Evaluate new platform capabilities, Microsoft roadmap enhancements, and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement. Approve and coordinate production releases, deployments, and environment promotions. Monitor platform performance, integration health, and system availability while leading issue resolution efforts. Maintain documentation related to environments, configurations, customizations, integrations, standards, and support procedures. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, release readiness reviews, and deployment planning. Coach and mentor team members on platform administration, governance, release management, and technical standards. Coordinate support and enhancement activities to maintain platform stability and performance. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a strong technology leader with deep Dynamics 365 expertise and a passion for platform governance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical knowledge and can effectively partner with both business and technical stakeholders to drive enterprise application success. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience supporting, administering, or delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions in manufacturing or complex business environments. Experience managing Dynamics 365 releases, environments, integrations, testing, and application lifecycle processes. Proven experience leading platform governance initiatives, technical teams, vendors, and enterprise application programs. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and manufacturing business processes, including production planning, shop floor operations, inventory management, supply chain, and finance. Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, integrations, environment management, platform security, and lifecycle management. Expertise in release governance, testing strategies, environment management, and platform operations. Ability to ensure system stability, performance, security, and data integrity across enterprise applications. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives. Ability to influence decisions and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority. Strong vendor management and stakeholder relationship skills. Strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational needs and long-term platform goals. Commitment to continuous improvement and technology innovation. Compensation for this position will be determined within the posted salary range based on factors such as candidate qualifications, relevant experience, internal equity, market competitiveness, skills, and certifications.
