Role Summary
Procure Africa is seeking three Founding Enterprise Sales Partners to help build the commercial engine of one of Africa's emerging enterprise procurement technology companies.
This is a unique opportunity for experienced commercial professionals who have successfully sold enterprise solutions, helped startups achieve product-market fit, executed go-to-market strategies, and thrived in entrepreneurial environments.
Rather than joining a traditional sales team, you will become a strategic commercial partner responsible for introducing Procure Africa to enterprise organisations, building executive relationships, and driving long-term revenue growth.
This is a performance-based partnership designed for self-starters who are motivated by creating value, building businesses, and sharing in long-term success.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 12 months, you will have:
- Built a strong pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities.
- Successfully introduced Procure Africa to executive decision-makers across target industries.
- Closed high-value annual software and procurement service contracts.
- Contributed to refining Procure Africa's go-to-market strategy and commercial playbooks.
- Become a trusted advisor to enterprise customers on procurement transformation.
- Played a meaningful role in scaling Procure Africa's commercial growth across South Africa.

You will work directly with the Founder & CEO to build relationships with enterprise customers and help shape our commercial strategy.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute enterprise sales strategies aligned with Procure Africa's commercial objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue enterprise opportunities within priority sectors including manufacturing, mining, construction, logistics, retail, government, healthcare, and renewable energy.
- Build trusted relationships with CEOs, CFOs, Procurement Directors, Supply Chain Executives, and Operations Leaders.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand procurement challenges and business objectives.
- Present Procure Africa's enterprise procurement platform through executive-level demonstrations and commercial presentations.
- Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate enterprise agreements.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools and disciplined opportunity management.
- Collaborate with the Founder & CEO to refine product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies based on customer feedback.
- Identify strategic partnership opportunities that accelerate market growth.
- Represent Procure Africa at industry conferences, networking events, and executive engagements.
- Maintain a strong understanding of procurement technology, enterprise software, digital transformation, and market trends.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience in enterprise sales, business development, commercial leadership, or strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated experience working within a startup.
- Proven success selling B2B SaaS, enterprise software, professional services, procurement, ERP, supply chain, or digital transformation solutions.
- Track record of closing enterprise contracts with significant annual contract values.
- Experience contributing to go-to-market execution and achieving product-market fit in growing businesses.
