Technical resource for environmental management and monitoring plan (EMMP), environmental baseline surveys (EBS), environmental impact assessment (EIA) Design, develop, and update EMMP technical specification for terrestrial environments in compliance with regulatory requirements and project objectives. Define monitoring indicators, methodologies, and reporting frameworks. Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables Coordinate and conduct field monitoring activities, including soil, vegetation, wildlife, and habitat assessments. Perform monitoring for water quality, air quality, and noise levels in terrestrial project areas. Verify accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting to stakeholders. Monitor adherence to environmental standards, permits, and legal obligations. Analyze monitoring results and recommend effective mitigation measures to minimize environmental impacts. Liaise with regulatory agencies, contractors, and other stakeholder representatives. Prepare and present environmental performance reports. Contribute to adaptive management strategies based on monitoring results. Research and integrate best practices and innovative technologies for environmental monitoring. Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others. Develop cost estimates of technical efforts for EMMP, EBS and EIA projects Provide input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements. Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in environmental management, monitoring, and compliance for terrestrial projects. Experience with environmental monitoring techniques (soil, water, air, noise, biodiversity). Familiarity with EIA, EMMP, and EBS processes. Ability to use data analysis tools (Excel, GIS, or statistical software). Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and coordinate field activities. Experience with field surveys and sampling protocols. Budgeting and cost estimation skills for environmental projects. Candidates with strong experience may be considered for a senior-level appointment.
