Collins, CO office. This role would entail working under an AECOM Project Manager to assist with planning, preparing and executing environmental investigation and remediation work associated with upstream oil and gas clients within Colorado. The role has a preference for a hybrid work model and can be based out of our office locations in Denver or Ft. Collins. Responsibilities for this position may include the following: Understands site investigation and remediation techniques to drive solutions for our clients. Responsible for the management of projects and establishes project-specific objectives under the direction of the Project Manager. Provides management and guidance to AECOM staff, subcontractors, and vendors. Provide mentorship and direction to junior and/or field staff. Assist with overseeing and delivering projects in accordance with specifications, budget, and schedule Determine and define project scope and objectives. Oversee the management of all phases of projects. Assist with report preparation and review. Predict resource needs and manage resources effectively. Provide technical oversight and quality control. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress at the direction of the Project Manager. Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks. Consistently deliver profit margins as planned. Minimum Requirements BS in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field, AND (2) Two + years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management and business development experience OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. US Citizen or US Permanent Resident. Successful candidate will be required to pass a background check. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management, and business development experience. Licensed (Professional Engineer or Geologist). Experience working with Local and State of Colorado, 40-hour HAZWOPER certified (current). PMP certification. Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations.
