The ERSEA Coordinator is responsible for supervising ERSEA Specialist staff, Enrollment Staff and Recruitment Staff. The ERSEA Coordinator supports staff in implementing Head Start Performance Standards and all applicable funder requirements related to Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance (ERSEA). This role is responsible for maintaining full compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance of children and pregnant women. The ERSEA coordinator provides staff with coaching, training and technical assistance related to ERSEA systems, policies and procedures. Candidate qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; business, sales, customer service, or related experience preferred. Minimum of one year experience in eligibility determination, including reviewing, verifying, and documenting participant eligibility. Minimum of one year experience implementing Head Start Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance (ERSEA) standards preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience dealing with families in crisis preferred. Must have ability to maintain confidentiality. Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills; consistently writes clearly and concisely for various mediums and audiences. Must be proficient in speaking, reading and writing in the English language. Additionally, proficient speaking, reading and writing in a second language may be Preferred based on program assignment. Demonstrates the ability to read, correctly interpret and follow city, state and federal regulations. Job Responsibilities: Participates in recruitment efforts designed to actively inform families with eligible children in the service area, including varied learners and other vulnerable or disproportionately impacted children. Participates in the community assessment process with the ERSEA Manager and analyses community assessment data to determine recruitment efforts. Maintains a monitoring system and implements policy for determining eligibility of children and families at assigned early childhood education sites; reviews enrollment applications, selection criteria and process to ensure accuracy of forms and timeliness of intake. Supervises the ERSEA Specialist staff, Enrollment Staff and Recruitment Staff and performance of their duties on a regular basis, including implementing the agency's personnel policies and practices. This includes hiring, appraisals, leaves, promotions, salary changes, terminations and documentation of all personnel actions. Implements intake and enrollment policies to meet the requirements from all funding sources. Ensures that all Program, in particular Head Start, is operating at maximum contracted slots at all times Job details: Compensation: Range is between $52k-56k, offers are commensurate with experience and bilingual candidates may receive additional compensation. The salary range provided represents our current estimate for this role at the time of posting and is subject to change. The final salary will be determined based on a range of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's relevant experience, education, qualifications, skills, certifications, and alignment with organizational needs.
